What this is

A thin, self-adhesive patch with a mugwort-based herbal blend held against the skin by a fabric backing. You peel it off its liner, place it where you want it, and it stays put under clothing until you take it off. Each patch is single use.

The material is flexible enough to follow the shape of a knee, shoulder or lower back without bunching, and the profile is low enough that it is not obvious under a jumper or a pair of jeans.

How it feels

Most people notice a gradual warming sensation building over the first several minutes rather than an immediate change. The warmth is mild and steady, not hot. The herbal blend has a distinct, slightly bitter scent that fades once the patch is covered by clothing.

How to use

  1. Start with clean, dry skin. Skip any area with broken skin, a rash or a recent injury.
  2. Peel the patch away from its backing liner and press it into place, smoothing the edges down.
  3. Wear it for the time stated on the pack, then peel it away slowly and discard it. Do not reuse a patch.
  4. If the skin under a patch becomes uncomfortable at any point, take it off.

Do not use patches on children, during pregnancy, or alongside any other skin-applied product on the same area unless a healthcare professional has told you it is fine to do so.
